It’s impossible to comprehend that my mum has gone. Never again will I see her laughing, shouting at me, telling dad off, cuddling me, being warm and tender. The nicknames ‘stainless steel’ and ‘the General’ fitted her strength of character but underneath that she was kind, warm hearted and vulnerable. We didn’t always see eye to eye but there was always love. I miss her and always will. I keep thinking of her, so recently lively and welcoming at a dinner she made for us even though she had just had surgery on her foot. We always laughed at the table about something, she would always crack up and chuckle uncontrollably - it was very infectious. My mum was truly a stunning looking woman with a beautiful smile; she was always smiling which is evident in the hundreds of photos we have dug out recently. She met many people all over the world who quickly became friends, mum impacted on a lot of people’s lives but most of all, dad, me and my two sons, Josh and Charlie. She was a loving grandma and simply adored her grandsons. So badly missed, so very much loved - you are a legend Mrs Jean Taylor and our hearts are broken 😔
